NASA Remains Stuck In Time

NASA astronaut describes close call following failed ...

In the last quarter of the 20th century, James Hansen, former head of the NASA Goodard Institute of Space Studies, utilized false data to promote the nascent global warming movement. The objective being to reduce the use of ‘fossil fuels.’

Since then, NASA has been nurturing, and become stuck in, the CO2-as-destroyer narrative.

Today, a visit to the NASA Facebook sites is like a trip to a land of make-believe. Only that the story is not a happy one.

NASA EARTH, NASA CLIMATE CHANGE, and NASA SEA LEVEL Facebook sites have a focus: CO2 and extreme weather events. “Heatwaves,” floods, all kinds of natural disasters abound.

Russian and Chinese space agencies are busy launching killer satellites, which can destroy US GPS system satellites, rendering the American military blind.

While this is going on, NASA in July 2019 launched a new satellite.

Its function is to determine CO2 levels on Earth. The NASA EARTH Facebook pages tell us about it.

First Data from NASA’s OCO-3 Mission: ‘CO2, I See You’

NASA as an organization is apparently not sharing with the public solar data that may result in their new satellite becoming irrelevant.

According to how NASA uses the term “long-range solar forecast”, it covers two solar cycles, meaning about 20 to 25 years.

The most recent NASA (not NOAA but NASA) Long-Range Solar Forecast was not released to the public this year, or even in 2018 or 2017. It was released in 2006.

This forecast shows a significant decline in solar irradiation, solar minimums, beginning in 2019 – 2020. This based on a model related to the number of sunspots.

The 2006 forecast was quite accurate. The present solar minimum that began this year is the deepest minimum in 100 years.

Here is an independent solar minimum history and forecast by a non-NASA scientist, which helps put into perspective, that the NASA 2006 forecast has us at the edge of a climate cliff in 2020. And that on the other side of that cliff are very cold temperatures.

It’s a mistake, of course, to view NASA as some kind of monolithic organization. Great work, for example, new technology, accurate climate research is being done at the NASA Langley Research Center by Dr. Martin Mlynczak and others.

But in terms of the public face of NASA, and their satellite development program, they are apparently stuck in time, focused on the CO2-causing-global-warming narrative.

The waste of resources would not be good in any situation, but considering the Russian and Chinese military space programs, it has dangerous implications.

Dr. Joel Glass designs (as a team member) water delivery infrastructure systems for very cold climates. His new book, ICE AGE 2025, is available on Amazon and shows how to get the country and our families ready for impending colder temperatures.
