BBC Asks: ‘What Is Climate Change?’ Scolds Readers With Lies

That’s the question posed by the all-activism all-the-time BBC in Britain.

Some of us fondly remember the days when the Beeb meant I, Claudius or various adaptation of 19th-century English novels, but now it’s devolved into a tiresome globalist scold, trying to frighten the children and mental defectives into believing the world is coming to an end:

190 people are talking about this

In order to believe this arrant hooey, you must believe that CO2 keeps the planet from freezing but at the same time — because of “an incredibly delicate balance” that seems to have evolved entirely by chance — you’re just going to have to take it on faith that we humans are bollixing everything up: and all in just 50 years!

The fact that half a century is just about within the lifetimes of everybody reading this post is entirely coincidental, of course, because just like the Holy Ghost, “you can’t see it, you can’t smell it, but it’s actually all around us, and it’s at the heart of our climate crisis.”

The key to understanding the Religion of Climate Change is making you believe that you are the problem. That’s why they’re so insistent upon locating this “crisis” within living memory.

Here’s a more coordinated harum-scarum with an English accent. (Weasel words, as always here at The Pipeline, are highlighted in bold.)

Notice how, at the outset, “global warming” — we’re back to that again — is immediately linked to another phantom menace, Covid-19:

While Covid-19 has shaken much of human society, the threat posed by global warming has not gone away. Human activities have increased carbon dioxide emissions, driving up temperatures. Extreme weather and melting polar ice are among the possible effects.

The Earth’s average temperature is about 15C [59F] but has been much higher and lower in the past. There are natural fluctuations in the climate but scientists say temperatures are now rising faster than at many other times.

This is linked to the greenhouse effect, which describes how the Earth’s atmosphere traps some of the Sun’s energy. Solar energy radiating back to space from the Earth’s surface is absorbed by greenhouse gases and re-emitted in all directions.

Uh-oh!

This heats both the lower atmosphere and the surface of the planet. Without this effect, the Earth would be about 30C [86F] colder and hostile to life.

Scientists believe we are adding to the natural greenhouse effect, with gases released from industry and agriculture trapping more energy and increasing the temperature. This is known as climate change or global warming.

Note the Note at the bottom of the graph: “Average is calculated from 1951-1980 land surface temperature data.”

Why not calculate the “average” from say, 476 A.D., and the Fall of the Roman Empire to the turn of the sixth century?

Wouldn’t that be just as representative of what the ideal “average” ought to be? Cherry-picking a 29-year period within most of our lifetimes is sure to make some point — but “warming” isn’t it.

Global-warming “science” is like taking the batting average of a marginal player on a hot streak in spring training and projecting it out over the course of a ten-year major league career.

But that doesn’t stop the Beeb or the other climate-change nutters, of course, who are now frightening the horses with images of the volume of seawater swelling as it heats up, soon to overrun all the world’s major landmasses.

Where’s Noah when we need him?

There is uncertainty about how great the impact of a changing climate will be. It could cause fresh water shortages, dramatically alter our ability to produce food, and increase the number of deaths from floods, storms and heatwaves.

This is because climate change is expected to increase the frequency of extreme weather events — though linking any single event to global warming is complicated.

No kidding!

David Bellamy was a fixture and fitting of the BBC for many years. His announcement in the press that it was cloud cover that determined the temperatures on Earth saw him banished into oblivion, after around 800 TV appearances. He died a very bitter man.
Now we have multiple studies published that totally exonerate him.
Since the virus lockdowns there has been no decrease in atmospheric levels of CO2.

The BBC has lost 35% of its audience in the last 6 years.

Its viewership has a median age of 60. It’s just not relevant today.

Should we really expect anything else from the BBC now? I would venture probably not.

So from 1800 we have had a full on industrial revolution, which is still ongoing and a massive growth in population and Mother Nature is guilty of a approximately one degree rise in temperature.

Covid-19 almost precisely the same – parse the lack of certainty below:

    CDC Website below:
The virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).

It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object, like a packaging container, that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.

Covid-19 is the virus they claim that causes the illness. As there are no tests ever tested against a pure C-19 culture, the tests are questionable. They also admit that the PCR test tests for a general covi genetic sequence and is not specific to C-19. It’s thus a joke as covis are also environmental and come and go all year round, most of them being relatively harmless and may cause a sniffle for a morning.

The US Navy will not use the test as there are too many false positives, estimated at 80%. The idea that asymptomatic positive people are carriers is thus a joke and the WHO representative who mentioned that such carriers are rare was right on the money. There is good reason that Typhoid Mary was famous as such carriers are rare.

“This heats both the lower atmosphere and the surface of the planet. Without this effect, the Earth would be about 30C [86F] colder and hostile to life.”

The presence of an atmosphere prevents the surface from being about 200 deg C by conductively and convectively carrying heat away from the surface. At night it prevents the planet from cooling to -100 deg C. Thus, the atmosphere serves to greatly moderate temperature fluctuation IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. It is not a blanket, but a moderator.

Also, no gas of any kind at any concentration can warm the atmosphere. The atmosphere, particularly the upper tropical troposphere which is supposed to be the source heating the planet,. is ALWAYS colder than the surface and thus cannot heat the surface.

      Hi Charles,
If you read my article “Kinetic Energy and The Atmosphere” in PSI it shows how the laws of thermodynamics dictate that the gas molecules higher in the atmosphere must have more kinetic energy (heat) than the gas molecules lower in the atmosphere. The atmosphere is heated by uv and x-rays, the surface of the Earth is heated by visible light.

Burn the feckers down, they are a disgusting progressive globalist deep state mega-phone, this is why both Left and Right find them objectionable.

See the plow the deep state furrow and that means it is sometimes in support of our in-power government and other times not, sometimes inline with the current opposition and sometimes not, and sometimes aligned with both or neither.

Most people think they have a left wing bias, they dont they have a progressive globalist bias, and if i could i would burn the bastards to the ground with all 30/40,000 of the traitorous bastards locked in it.
