Clueless Californians Prepare for Global Warming During an “Endless Winter”

Filed under the category “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up,” the headlines today highlight California’s “Endless Winter.”

California’s endless winter: 8 feet of snow still on the ground in June

It’s an endless winter in the West.

Snow from the barrage of storms that pounded the western mountains over the winter is still on the ground. Many mountains in the Rockies, Sierra and Cascades are packed with at least 8 feet of snow, the National Weather Service said, creating a dream summer for skiers and snowboarders.

The Mammoth Mountain ski area in Mammoth Lakes, Calif., is seeing its “best spring conditions in decades … and will be operating DAILY into August for one of our longest seasons in history,” the resort said on its website. “When will this endless winter end? We don’t have that answer yet, but we do know that the skiing and riding are all-time right now.”

After wasting countless taxpayer dollars on pure nonsense, and ignoring the most basic of governmental responsibilities, conditions may get worse for Californians. The sun is the quietest it has been for 100 years and is likely headed even lower.

Solar Update June 2017–the sun is slumping and headed even lower
Solar cycle 24 has seen very low solar activity thus far, likely the lowest in 100 years.

California represents the real danger of buying into this CO2 catastrophic warming nonsense. Never in 600 million years of the geological record has CO2 caused catastrophic warming, not even when it was 7,000 ppm.

On the other hand, the 800,000 ice-core record demonstrates that an ice age/glaciation is an almost certainty in the relatively near future (in geologic terms.)

Californians are preparing for a catastrophe that hasn’t happened in 600 million years when the ice core data makes it pretty clear that an ice age/glaciation is an almost certainty. You simply can’t find a greater concentration of cluelessness on the face of the earth.
